Melissa and Joey's wedding at the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA was such a long time coming. These two sweet people had to reschedule their wedding day twice! When the day finally came, it was nothing short of magical.

The day began at a hotel where they got ready. Hair and makeup was done and they took a shuttle to the venue. I had such an amazing time walking around the beautiful Black Swan Country Club grounds with Melissa and Joey. The venue was GORGEOUS. They have a beautiful waterfall area, a quaint bridge (perfect for photos), and flowers in bloom everywhere! The inside of the Country Club was also stunning, with clean white walls and just a feeling of intimacy throughout the venue.

Their ceremony was outside under a beautiful blue sunny sky. The weather could not have been better!

My favorite part of the day was right after Melissa and Joey’s first dance. I think everyone would agree that this was one of the most touching moments of the day! Joey's sister stepped in to dance with her brother during the Mother/Son dance because their mother had recently passed away. It was so beautiful, everyone's eyes were welling with tears after witnessing that dance. Absolutely moving.

Another favorite moment of the reception was the toasts! I am a sucker for a good speech. Right before dinner the MOH and the Best Man gave their speeches. I loved how the Best Man talked about how Melissa is Joey's new best friend and partner. Good advice, humor, sprinkled with some personal stories...all the ingredients for an amazing toast!

These two are seriously a joy to be around. Walking around Black Swan's land during portrait time was very reminiscent of Melissa and Joey's engagement session that happened over TWO years ago! These two have been an #ARaiCouple for quite some time! I am so grateful to have them on my team!
