Last night was such a blast! I met Samantha and Nick in Portsmouth to take some official engagement pictures. Samantha arrived in a beautiful, elegant white and blue flowered dress and Nick complimented the dress with khakis and a blue pullover. Talk about great outfit choices! It was very cloudy, and the air was cool- fall had arrived and it had arrived quickly.
Samantha and Nick met about three and a half years ago on Bumble. They were telling me that their first date was right around their birthdays (their birthdays are in February and only two days apart). Samantha said that the timing of when they went out was perfect because since the relationship was so new, there was no pressure to buy each other birthday gifts or worry about Valentine’s Day.
Fast forward February 2020, right before the world shut down due to the coronavirus, Samantha and Nick had just bought their first home. It was a special time where they did everything together! In December, Samantha was out with a friend getting her nails done. When she got home, there was a note waiting for her on their door. Nick created an intimate scavenger hunt where he was on one knee, at the end, asking her to marry him. What a sweet way to propose!
Samantha and Nick live close to the Rhode Island border and drove about two hours for this photoshoot! Samantha went to college at UNH so she knew the area pretty well. Samantha described them as being major foodies and love to go out to try new restaurants and wineries. They brought a champagne bottle that was given to them when they got engaged and it was so fun to use it in their session. They will be getting married at the LaBelle Winery and I cannot wait to join them on their special day! Cheers!
