Christy and Zeek are two of the sweetest people! What a joy it was to spend time hiking with them up beautiful Foss Mountain. It is more of a walk, you do most of the hiking by car, but still a hike nonetheless! We started our time together checking out The Little White Church in Eaton Center (adorable quintessential New England church) and then made the drive up to Foss Mountain Trail.
Christy and Zeek met in high school and have known each other a long time. Their families also know each other! They both went to UNH where Christy majored in Marketing and Zeek in Accounting. They still live fairly local to where they went to high school and college today!
Christy and Zeek are adventurers, as you can tell. Their proposal story involves some adventure too! A year ago they planned a fun adventure day that involved stopping at 3 beautiful New Hampshire destinations. The first stop was at The Castle in The Clouds. This is one of their favorite spots! Next was Echo Lake State Park, apparently this is where Zeek was going to propose to Christy originally, but he got too nervous! It all worked out for the best though because at their last stop, Glen Ellis Falls, Zeek told Christy her sister was going to meet them there. Excited they made the trek down to the falls. As Zeek and Christy were standing in front of the waterfall as Christy's sister snapped photos, Zeek got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
It turns out that while we were hiking together we realized we know a few of the same people! What a small world it is!! I am so glad that are paths crossed and I look forward to seeing these two more in the future!
