As fate should have it, even growing up in two very different parts of the world, this didn't keep Alison + Ernesto from meeting and falling in love. While Alison was living overseas in Spain, they met during her time studying abroad. Ernesto is from Spain, and Alison is from New Hampshire. While on a first date at a french tapas restaurant, they knew they had met someone special. It wasn't long before Ernesto visited Boston, and the two met each other's families and thoughts of a future together began to become a reality. Ernesto proposed in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston on a rainy, yet cozy day in the city.
While navigating an engagement, and a move to a new country for Ernesto, they embarked on a journey together to say I do, albeit with a few hurdles in the way thanks to a world pandemic. Patience and due diligence paid off, and this summer they finally get to have their wedding ceremony amongst family and friends at a church in Rye, New Hampshire. It will no doubt be absolutely beautiful, with Alison incorporating some Spanish touches to their big day, including a custom Spanish veil that was made. Ernesto will welcome his family from Spain, including his parents, and also a brother and sister to see this new place he calls home.
We had so much fun exploring a beautiful corner of Newington, New Hampshire called Fox Point. We walked near the water that leads to the ocean, hiked into a beautiful wooded area that Alison used to take her childhood Golden Retriever for walks, and ended at a beautiful grassy field. Lots of laughter, and one bottle of champagne popped later, and our session was a wrap! Looking forward to celebrating this adorable couple in July!
