What a joy it was to capture Hannah and Jake’s wedding! We were blessed with the most beautiful weather- sunny, warm, and a slight breeze. I met Hannah and her bridesmaids at a quaint New England home that was a part of the wedding venue. They were finishing hair and make-up, and excited to take pictures!
After capturing all of their beauty, Hannah, her bridesmaids, and her mom, gathered for prayer before the ceremony. Hannah sat in a chair while everyone surrounded her, placing a hand on her and praying over her. It was sweet and intimate. I loved seeing how important their faith was to all of them and how it was at the center of their day.
One of my favorite parts of their wedding was seeing all of their family and friends come together to make sure everything was perfect! They had friends make all of the delicious food, create beautiful wildflower bouquets, organize an amazing spread of charcuterie platters, and more. Everyone was over-the-moon for Hannah and Jake and you could just see it with all of the work being done for their day.
The rest of the wedding continued with the theme of excitement and bliss. Hannah and Jake read their own vows at the ceremony and had both of their dads pray over them. Following the ceremony, a fun cocktail hour of hors d’oeuvres and conversations took place while family photos were happening. Dances, speeches and dinner followed, ending with a night full of dancing. And let me tell you- this crowd loved to dance! It was so entertaining watching them.
Hannah and Jake, I had the most fun and absolutely loved seeing the love between you two. I hope you both have a wonderful honeymoon. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to capture your special day
