We could not have picked a better night to do engagement photos. The air was crisp and there was a nice breeze coming off the ocean. I met John and Ally, and immediately knew that this was going to be a fun time. John and Ally met through mutual friends while Ally was in college. John said that he knew how lucky he was to have her. They were so sweet with one another- smiling, laughing and seemed so comfortable even as I was placing them in different poses!
We kept laughing the whole time because there were about 10 other photographers doing photoshoots on the beach! It was John and Ally’s first time at the Great Island Common beach in New Castle and they said that they must’ve picked the best spot. They spend a lot of their time in Kennebunkport, where John’s family has a boat. They love going out on the boat and playing with their sweet pup, Tucker. We were lucky enough to snap some family photos with Tucker which turned out super cute.
John and Ally will be getting married in Kennebunkport where they will be having a live band. I told them that I may have a hard time not dancing. They laughed and then graciously offered me to join them on the dance floor when I’m done shooting!
I am so excited for next summer! This year is going to fly by and before you know it, I’ll be at your wedding, taking some of the most important photos of your life! And then I’ll meet you both on the dance floor.
