Sometimes there is a break in winter and we get a spring-like day! Walking around with Erica and Brian in the 40 degree sunshine...it almost felt like spring! I was also gushing over the soft dreamy light during this golden hour! It was great to finally meet this sweet couple in person at Odiorne Point State Park which is a favorite location of mine (that is where my husband proposed to me)! This was the first time we were meeting in person, but it quickly felt like we were old friends! They are two of the sweetest and their love for each other is so apparent!
Erica and Brian are marathon runners, that is one thing they have in common that I’m sure solidified their love. Brian wanted to propose to Erica at one of the marathons that they were running together, but the plan was derailed because of weather and other unforeseen circumstances. It all worked out because what actually happened was so much better! Brian ended up asking Erica’s daughter if he could ask her mom to marry him. She replied with “that’s up to her!” so Brian took Erica and her daughter to a local park for a picnic and asked Erica to marry him. She said yes!
Erica and Brian are planning to get married at Springhill in South Berwick Maine this spring! I love that they chose the venue because they fell in love with the grounds while they were racing the Pumpkinman Triathlon there! I cannot wait to witness and document this magical day for this little family!
