It was a perfect July summer day at the picturesque Powder Major’s Farm. The temperature was pushing 80 but in the shade it felt much cooler.
There was a slight breeze rustling the maple leaves above. Zach was in position facing away from the big white colonial, waiting for the moment he finally got to see his beautiful bride to be. Taylor walked slowly up from behind him with her beautiful gown trailing. She wiped a tear right before reaching him. She tapped him on the shoulder, and at first Zach didn’t turn around. He took an extra moment to gather himself and get ready for what was about to happen.
Zack was making sure he could savor this moment and lock it in his memory forever. He turned around and was gripped by emotion. He was holding back tears immediately after looking at Taylor. Zack told Taylor how beautiful she was and that he was the luckiest man in the world. He finally couldn’t hold back his tears anymore and wiped a few away. They hugged for a while and then Zach spun her around to take a good look at her dress. Then he handed her a letter that he wanted her to read right then and there. Lots of happy tears were flowing.
This wedding day at Powder Major’s Farm was so full of joy, laughter, and love. From the moment it began to the moment it ended. It was also truly an honor to meet Taylor & Zach’s family and friends! Such an amazing group.
Taylor & Zach tied the knot at the beautiful Barn at Powder Major’s Farm. It was a perfect place to hold their wedding day. The barn was beautifully decorated and the ceremony space was bright and cheery! I loved the little touches that Taylor and Zach had on their wedding day.
One of my favorite touches was the little wooden chest that they sealed love letters and a bottle of wine in, only to open on their 5 year anniversary.
