NH Wedding Photographer | Light and Airy NH Photographer
The forecast called for rain all afternoon, but not a drop had fallen. Emily and Mike stood in front of their closest friends and family in a very intimate ceremony. Many held onto tissues as they wiped their happy tears away. Near the end of their recited vows Mike promised Emily that he wouldn't bring home any more parts for his Chevy Nova without her permission while Emily promised Mike she wouldn't bring home any more animals without asking. Then they both said "You ride, I ride" which is the cutest inside joke, sharing their guilty pleasure with everyone that they love the Fast and Furious movies. The ceremony was so personal and beautiful. My favorite part about being a NH Wedding Photographer is hearing personally written vows!

It was quite an honor to be invited to such a special intimate affair. There were toasts from close friends about love and friendship and family members shared stories of the past. There was laughter and there were tears. Being a mother I always tear up at the mother/son dance, and this wedding was no different. Watching the love and care that Mike had when he danced with his mom was super sweet. I was surprised when I teared up during the father/daughter dance as the words of "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw made its way into my mind. Although COVID may have forced Emily and Mike to change their original wedding plans to something smaller and more intimate, I'm convinced that amount of love that surrounded them was the same.

Congratulations Emily & Mike! You two are amazing and I am so happy that I got to be with you on your wedding day!
