Joe, along with all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were waiting at the alter. They were all waiting for the moment they would see Jess and her dad walk down the aisle. As Jess and her dad headed towards the ceremony location, down the hill, Joe actually turned around to face the other way! He was so anxious and excited, yet it was clear he didn't want the moment to end. He finally turned back around to face the aisle as soon as Jess walked by the first row of chairs. He locked eyes with her and the smile on his face was priceless. As the ceremony progressed, Jess and Joe read the vows that they had written to each other. They were heart felt and funny, tear jerking and humorous. It was such a beautiful wedding and I found myself on the verge of tears too many times! Their love is so evident and beautiful.
This late August wedding was absolutely perfect. You couldn't ask for better weather!
This wedding had many first looks, none of which involved Jess & Joe! The day started with a First Look between Jess and her Mimi. Talk about tears! This was so emotional and beautiful. I felt so privileged to be a part of it! Next was a First Look between Jess and her Dad, Kevin. Seeing her dad tear up was so touching. Their hugs were so tight, it was as if he never wanted to let go! The last First Look was actually with Jess and herself! I've never had a bride do this before, and it was AMAZING. The first time she saw herself with her hair, makeup, dress, and veil was after all of the other First Looks. Trust me, it was just as emotional! Lots of tissues and happy tears for this wedding.
Right after the ceremony a party bus picked up the bridal party and drove them to a relative's house that is tucked away high up on a ridge. The sites from this location were stunning! This day was filled with jaw dropping beauty from the moment I arrived to the end! The reception was nothing short of an epic party. Everyone was dancing from the moment they finished dinner to the last song! The energy and the joy in the room was apparent.
North Conway is always a favorite of mine and I am so overjoyed that I got to work with two amazing people and their families and friends in one of my favorite towns.
