Nicole + Matt, aka the cutest and happiest couple, are currently Bostonians that live over by the ocean in Winthrop with their new kitten, but both have roots north of the city. Nicole is from Dover, NH and Matt is from just south of us in Haverhill, MA. As we were walking through Strawbery Banke together on this late afternoon they were reminiscing about how their relationship began, which was in Portsmouth! They met randomly one night, she actually gave Matt her number and told him not to lose it… well he lost it. Ha ha! He spent all night trying to find her on Facebook, He finally found her and sent her a message. Their first date was at Ri Ras in Portsmouth right before New Years Eve.
Nicole and Matt both love Nantucket, which I loved hearing since I used to live there too in the summers. Small world! They decided to go there over their dating anniversary and Matt told Nicole they were going to see igloos on the beach… well when they got there, no igloos were anywhere in sight. He acted surprised and then told her to look out into the ocean while he snapped a photo. While she was looking away he scrambled for the ring in his pocket and then when she turned around he was on one knee! And the rest is history!
So here we are. From the moment they walked up to meet me this evening for engagement pictures, they were holding hands and laughing, you could just feel their love and excitement for one another. Nicole looked absolutely stunning, and Matt cleaned up pretty nice as well. This is going to be one beautiful wedding with so much happiness radiating from these two.
