Spring weather in New England has been showing off this past week and did not disappoint for our first engagement session of the season! I met Shannon and Ryan on the most beautiful Spring day at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, NH. There was a slight breeze, live music playing in the background, and perfectly blooming trees all around!
As I walked up to meet Shannon and Ryan, I could tell these two came dressed to impress! Not only did their outfits shine but their personalities along with their admiration for one another was apparent both on and off the camera. It was a pleasure spending the evening with them!
Shannon and Ryan met (as they say) “the old fashioned way” on Tinder and after their first date, they never looked back! I have always loved nostalgia and tradition, so when I heard that we would be shooting their engagement session in the same part of town where they had their first date and where Ryan proposed, I knew I couldn’t wait to meet this couple and capture more memories. There is something really special about capturing couples together in one of their favorite spots!
We started our session in Strawberry Banke where the wind perfectly caught Shannon’s hair and dress and the white buds of trees were in peak bloom. We took a stroll into Prescott Park and ended our session down by the water, where Ryan proposed. It was fun to hear them reminisce and remember their engagement day so fondly!
Shannon and Ryan are planning a Spring wedding in 2024 in South Berwick, ME. With all of their family and friends along with their large bridal parties, I know it will be a fun wedding! I truly cannot wait to capture their big day! Congratulations to you two!
