I had the pleasure of capturing Veronica and Brien’s engagement session this past Thursday. They are two of the most wonderful people who have known each other since they were kids. The session took place at the beautiful Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, NH on a sunny spring day, creating the perfect backdrop for their love story.
Veronica and Brien’s journey together began after they reconnected as adults. Despite growing up together, they didn’t start dating until Veronica moved back home after college. It was a serendipitous encounter at a local bar that brought them back into each other’s lives. While Veronica was on vacation, Brien texted her, eagerly awaiting her return. He wasted no time in asking her out for a Monday night dinner, which turned out to be their unforgettable first date. From that moment forward, their connection grew stronger, and their love story unfolded.
The engagement itself was a truly sentimental and thoughtful affair. Brien chose their new home as the setting for the proposal. After some time around their campfire at their new home, Brien presented Veronica with a ring box and “remember when” notes, each one capturing a special moment they shared throughout their journey together. It was a touching gesture that symbolized their deep bond and the memories they have created.
As their wedding photographer, I couldn’t help but be moved by the genuine love and affection Veronica and Brien have for each other. The way they looked into each other’s eyes and shared laughter during the engagement session was truly heartwarming.
