Jill and Mike know how to celebrate! Their St. Patrick’s Day wedding at The Envio in Portsmouth, NH was the perfect balance of class and fun.
We started the day with Jill and her bridesmaids in the Bridal Suite at The Envio where they were all in the most beautiful pajamas finishing the final touches with their hair and makeup. Hotel guests tried peeking their heads in to get a glimpse of the beautiful bride as they passed by! After some good music and mimosas to start the day, we headed up to the rooftop for Jill and Mike’s first look. With the Piscataqua River Bridge and water as the backdrop, these two shared some special moments with one another as some of their family and friends watched from the windows of the hotel.
Their wedding day had so many special elements that tied in their Irish heritage along with their love of their families and each other. Jill’s aunt officiated their wedding ceremony and Jill and Mike’s adorable nieces and nephews *almost* stole the show as they walked down the aisle. In true Irish tradition, Jill walked down the aisle, escorted by her dad, to the playing of bagpipes and the newlyweds took their first walk as Mr. and Mrs. Bedard to them as well!
Jill and Mike’s family and friends came dressed for the occasion! Looking around the room at their 200+ guests, the outfits ranged from gorgeous emerald green velvet gowns, Irish flat caps, suits with shamrocks to the bridesmaids sage dresses and the groomsmen’s green detailed ties. What a festive and fun crowd!
Jill and Mike’s dedication to their families, friends and each other was evident throughout the day and everyone who was there felt it. It was my pleasure to celebrate with them and capture their day! I know that their future anniversaries will be filled with lots of green, Guinness and shamrocks to remember their wedding day by. Congratulations to the Bedards!
