Any venue that can accommodate a bridal party and their family from the time they are getting ready to the late night after party, is a big thumbs up in my opinion!
The Thompson Inn is an elegant wedding venue located in Durham, NH. The Inn and Cyderhouse are beautifully restored buildings from the turn of the century. When you drive up to The Thompson Inn you first see the driveway which is lined with beautiful walnut trees I also love the massive maple trees and the beautiful light reflecting crushed stone around the Inn. The venue can accommodate 150 guests and is the perfect location for a wedding.
Durham, NH is home of The University of New Hampshire but this venue is nestled on the outskirts of town and feels like you are somewhere out in the country when you are at The Thompson Inn. There are plenty of hotels to choose from for guests that will not be staying on site. Close by towns with accommodations aside from Durham are Dover and Portsmouth, NH.
